I believe everyone should pay the same but, apparently, the military is going to take care of their own and civilians of any age or years of non-military service are not valued on the same plane. I am in total disagreement with the policy makers who have arbitrarily decided that military service is more deserving of discounts than those of us who have contributed to the welfare of others in other ways. However my years of "service" apparently are not considered as valuable as the military or DOD employees who are rewarded with discounts while folks like me have to pay full price. I have been a family and marriage counselor for over 30 years. I worked for a number of years for El Paso County (one of the advertised pardners of this endeavor) as a child abuse worker. I am an 80 year old, long term taxpayer on Social Security.
